Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown
to over 16 million members who worship in more than 42,000 churches in the United States.
Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 home missionaries serving the United States, Canada, Guam and the Caribbean,
as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations of the world.
Working Together To Reach The World Locally And Abroad!
“The purpose of the Summit Baptist Association is to assist the cooperating churches
in their divinely appointed task of extending the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ
through fellowship, missions, education, and proclamation.”
Liberty Church Network (LCN) is a network of pastors and churches
partnering together
to plant new churches in the United States and
around the world.
LCN, formerly knows as the Liberty Baptist Fellowship,
started planting churches in 1980 under the direction of its founder,
Dr. Jerry Falwell.
Since that time, LCN has planted nearly 1,000
churches in the US alone,
with a large portion of those being in the
past few years.
This certainly makes LCN one of the largest and oldest
church planting networks in the country.
In addition to planting churches, we also endorse military chaplains.
We started doing this in 1982 under the name Liberty Baptist
Fellowship.
